Federal Hill: Crime and Cuisine Food Tour !
Join us on Saturday, September 27 for an excursion to Providence where the Providence Tour Company wiil treat us to a culinary tour of the famous Federal Hill neighborhood. We'll enjoy fine wine, pasta, and
other delights, Along the way, we'll learn of the neighborhood's history as the New England Mafia's headquarters, home to the notorius Patriarca crime family. Cost is $136 per person, which includes a roundtrip bus from the Italian Club and the tour. This trip is limited to the first 25 people, so don't delay. June Member Spotlight:
Last month I started to recognize those members (board members, full members, or social members) who make a difference at our club - those individuals who go above and beyond silently in the background for the good of our club. This month's receipient is no different.Judy DiPietro-Remillard is one of those individuals whose selfless acts affect our club in such a positive way I thought it was time to recognize her (even though she will no doubt want to kill me for doing so). What can I say about Judy that you don't already know? She is one of the kindest individuals I know - always willing to help out regardless to what is needed. Judy just doesn't know how to say no, especially when she knows that her actions will benefit her club family. No matter what comes out of that kitchen, if Judy has a hand in it, everyone knows it's going to be good!
Her reputation as a dependable person who puts the good of the club first makes her such a priceless asset to us.
Judy, thanks for all you do for our club - your next drink is on us!
